E - Employment History (Spelling It Out)

Employment History

Gaining confirmation of each job role over a specified length of time; a standard history would usually span over 5 years history working from the CV and speaking directly to the candidate; this is really important because candidates can occasionally not include agency work and/or non-relevant employments on their CV which could look like their was a gap in employment.

Along with the permanent employment confirmation the history can also cover internships, work experience, part time jobs, agency work & voluntary roles.

If education falls into the history then a verification of this would also be required (see next letter: E - Education Verification).
